Year 3 Romans & Celts Day
The children came to school dressed as a Roman or a Celt and spent the morning completing several activities. Whilst the Celts were weaving and making Celtic torcs, the Romans created mosaics, constructed battle plans and practised forming a tortoise with their shields. In the afternoon, the Celts had their faces painted ready for our slow motion battle. The children thoroughly enjoyed their day and it consolidated their knowledge of Romans and Celts.
