Welcome to the Pyrford Church of England Primary School. We are delighted you have found us, and we hope the websitrre gives you a real feel for the vision and ethos of our school.

We are a popular and successful primary school for children from nursery to Year 6, set in the village of Pyrford and serving the communities of Pyrford and Wisley. With a pupil roll of 420, we are one of the largest primary schools in Surrey, and we are proud of the diverse and welcoming community that has grown around us. We aim to make each day a stimulating and enjoyable experience for every one of our children.

We have a strong ethos of collaboration and partnership, and everyone, pupils, staff, parents and governors, works together to make Pyrford a successful and constantly developing school. We believe that close links between home and school are essential, and we value highly the involvement, cooperation and support of our parents.

At Pyrford, every child is given the opportunity to achieve and to shine. The acquisition of knowledge and skills is the entitlement of every child, irrespective of ability or background. We offer a broad, challenging and motivating curriculum that promotes enjoyment and excitement in learning and nurtures positive attitudes and behaviour. We have high expectations for everyone, and we are committed to meeting the needs of each child and encouraging them to aim high and reach their potential. External quality assurance recognises the high quality of education, achievement and wellbeing of our children, and we are very proud of that.

Working together, we can give them the very best primary education, so that they become effective and enthusiastic learners, ready and confident to meet the challenges of the future.
