School Information

At Pyrford Church of England (Aided) Primary School children are given the opportunity to experience a broad and balanced curriculum through good quality teaching, thus enabling them to achieve their optimum academic standards. Alongside the planned curriculum, children have the benefit of participating in a range of extra-curricular activities, including sport, music, the performing arts, science and information technology. They also take part in a number of residential and off-site trips.

This is in an environment in which they have equal opportunity to develop the necessary self-esteem to become confident and worthwhile members of the school community and society at large. To this end the school engages in a number of community events in partnership with the church, other local schools, the village and more widely within Woking and Surrey as a whole. Children are encouraged to support local, national and international charities and a number of events are organised throughout the year to this end.

The school enjoys a good reputation within the local community and we are keen to build and develop on this for the good of all our pupils, both now and in the future.

I do hope that you will find our web site both interesting and informative. We have tried to reflect the life of the school, those who make up its community and the relationship with the wider community it serves.

Mrs Kathyrn Krynicki
Acting Headteacher
